Can Music Help You Study?

Music can be a great tool to use while you're studying or doing homework. However, it's important to make sure you're doing it the right way!

Some music is awesome and fun, but not all types are great for focusing. It's important to make sure that the device you're using isn't a distraction. Put the device on "shuffle" and try really hard not to touch it again until you're finished with your work. Constantly changing songs creates distraction.

Check out the following videos to understand how music can (and can't) help you study and how to use it the right way!

Exercise!

Did you know?

Simply getting up and exercising can improve your ability to think, remember and learn. Kids who exercise for 1 hour every day perform better in school than those who don't! Your body is a system that needs to be healthy to function. If your body isn't healthy, your brain isn't working as well as it could. Check out another awesome Crash Course Study Skills video that explains why it's so important to keep your body moving!
